WHAT IS THE FAITH PATH?

And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to Him must believe that God exists and that He rewards those who sincerely seek Him.

Hebrews 11:6

Life is a journey.  As a person goes on this journey, they have to make the choice of which paths they will take.  Each path will take you to a destination.  Some of those destinations are welcomed.  Others prove to be less-than-desirable.  If a person wants to live a life that is pleasing to their Creator, then he or she must choose the faith path.

The faith path is the one that is taken when a person chooses by faith to follow the will of God for their lives.  This is done by laying aside the way you think things should be done and living by complete trust that Jesus Christ knows exactly what He is doing.

The faith path is not an easy path by any stretch of the imagination.  Sometimes that path will take you to places that you never thought you would go or wanted to go.  One thing is for sure though: if you decide to take this path, you will find the abundant life that Jesus promised.

This website is a place for people to see what this faith journey looks like for our family.  There will be a variety of ideas, resources, and news that we will share on this website.  Feel free to browse around and see what is happening as our family walks on the faith path.

WHO WE ARE

Anthony Stephens

I have the honor of holding the husband/dad role in our wonderful family.  I became of follower of Jesus as a preteen, but I did not truly begin being a disciple until high school.  God blessed me with a wonderful wife and three amazing boys (plus one child in heaven).  I also have the privilege of serving the local church as a pastor.

When it comes to hobbies, I am a 100% die-hard Alabama Crimson Tide fan.  I have an infatuation for motorcycles.  I enjoy reading, fishing, having a good time, being around lots of people, and messing with “techie” stuff.

I have the privilege of being wife/mom in our wonderful family.  I became a follower of Jesus Christ at the age of 10.  I truly learned what it meant to be a disciple of Christ in college.  God has blessed our family with three wonderful boys and one child in heaven.

When it comes to hobbies and things that I enjoy, I enjoy homeschooling our children and seeing them learn.  I am a lover of music from just about any genre.  I enjoy doodling.  I am very much a “morning person.”
